Sarah joined PSHR in January 2024, having most recently worked as Head of HR for a large global agricultural machinery company.  In her HR career which has spanned over 20 years, she has also worked in food manufacturing and private healthcare.  Having started her career as an HR Assistant, and studying for her CIPD qualifications while she worked, Sarah has gained experience right from the administration basics, up to working as part of a senior management team and board of directors.

Although Sarah has always worked as an HR Generalist, she has significant experience in recruitment, consultation and change management.  Sarah is passionate about employee engagement, linking this to vision and brand.  She firmly believes that employees need to be able to see clearly how their role and performance fits and adds value to the business.  She also believes that companies have a responsibility to be an active part of the community in which they operate, and again, this can be a motivator for employees as we as a retention tool.

Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys country walks with her dog, eating good food which has preferably been cooked by someone else, reading and crochet.
